Teen Power! is out and buyable. The publisher, Little Otsu, sums it up best on their website.
Buy hundreds and hundreds of copies.

Also, I now have I'm Gonna Rip Yer Face Off #2. It is for you.

Thanks to everyone who came to see me at the Alternative Press Expo. I had tons of fun, and sold a bunch of books. Even the panel went well.
Here's a little write-up about me and some of my pals from the website SFist.

happy birthday, katie!

The Alternative Press Expo is is April 21-22 this year, and I'll be there selling books and smiling and sitting a lot. I'll have 3 new books: I'm Gonna Rip Yer Face Off #2, Thingpart Sampler #4, and (hopefully) Teen Power - the book published by Little Otsu.

I'll also be participating in a panel Discussion called "The Bay Area’s Young Cartoonists: 2007". I have no idea what I'm going to say, so if you have any ideas, please let me know.

Also, I'm part of a group art show happening on Saturday, April 21st at the brand new Gallery 1988. Basically, everyone you love is in it. Seriously, check it out:

KQED, one of the SF Bay Area's public television and radio stations, did a write-up about Thingpart on their blog this weekend.

click this little thing to see it.

It's a really great post, not only because the author, Paula Rogers, puts my name and the incredible Michael Kupperman's in the same sentence, but she also links to a lot of funny stuff within the post, including one of my favorite Mr. Show clips.

In other news, my new book Teen Power, being published by Little Otsu will exist very soon. Check this page every 4 or 5 minutes so you'll know exactly when you can buy it.

If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area (and you should), make sure to pick up a copy of the Guardian this week (it'll be on the stands until 3/6), 'cause I've got a comic in there.

Thingpart is now available for your reading pleasure en Español. Es muy bien!

Transpop is also planning on reprinting some of my mini-comics in Spanish as well. Details forthcoming.

For some reason, I've created a LiveJournal page. If you're into that sort of thing, you can view it on the internet.

I realize I haven't updated this in a while. But this time I'm going to keep it up to date, I swear.

First of all, I have a new-ish book. You may not have seen it. It's like this:

Click it for details and samples which you may like.

Also, here's a little write-up about it from Boing Boing:.

And, all of the comics in the book are available as original re-drawn reprints. They're only $25, which, I'm sorry, is very cheap. They are beautiful little works of art. Check it out.

And also, I am currently hard at work on I'm Gonna Rip Yer Face Off #2! Please wait patiently by your mailbox or in your local comics store.

My mini-comics Passing Periods and Absolute Power are going to be collected, along with some new material, into a as-yet-unnamed book. It's going to be published by the wonderful folks at Little Otsu, who sell and publish so many great things.

Also, if you hurry, you can still pick up MAD Magazine #474 (it's got Britney on the cover!). In it you'll find the second comic I did for them. It's called The Machine That Travels Through Time. You'll probably like it. If not, there are great comics by Keith Knight, Douglas Paszkiewicz, and of course, my all time favorite Sergio Aragones.

Lastly, if you are in the market for a truly awesome wallet or purse or bag, you should check out my sister Kate's Etsy store. She is amazing!
Old-ass news. As if you care.
